The answer is yes. In my english classes, I did one when in my freshman year, my sophomore year and I guess I am about to do one this year. The obstacles that I encountered were finding the right topic; because some topics are too broad, sometimes it's hard to discuss insight of the topic. Another problem that I faced was to edit my paper because it's hard to correct you'r own mistakes sometimes they'r unnoticable. The greatest challenge in writing the future research paper for this class I guess would be the same problem I had mentioned earlier. Choosing the right topic! I am still not sure of what I think would be a proper and significant topic, it's hard for me to decide. Since I know its going to be about the United States history, my research paper is going to be about one of these topics: Malcolm X's life, the Cold War, the Great Depression or the 1920's when people started spending more money than they actually had which contributed to the Great Depression.
what AM I going to learn from this research paper? i am not really sure, but i guess i will learn more U.S. history and i hope i do because i can't afford to fail the TAKS test or the NATURALIZATION test. They are two of the most important tests to me that envolve U.S. history and that i must pass them, because they ARE a big deal.
